(Northern California) Oberon is a close-knit community of artisans who are dedicated to excellence whether they are making products, maintaining equipment, creating prototypes or dealing with customers. The founder, Brendan Smith, began Oberon Design in 1992 and based his company on the creation of tooled leather journal covers. In 1999 he created a pewter casting shop inside the leather studio and Oberon began hand casting all the journal buttons, expanding into the production of bookmarks and beautiful barrettes. Paper albums and journals are now included in the line. Available at our Oakland and Burlingame locations
