(Tennessee) Over 20 years ago in Middle Tennessee, Cosmic Clay began to experiment in the creation of clay vessels and sculptured forms. Throughout the years they have taken their audience down visual avenues of classical, abstract, deco, futuristic, and neo-primitive design. Their current cosmic exploration involves two highly specialized directions: a fascination with Egyptian and Pre-Columbian artifacts combined the delight of dogs, cats and the rural Tennessee life-style. Cosmic Clay strives to incorporate subconscious themes of mystical imagery, curious symbols, and lyrical patterns to produce an aesthetically pleasing ceramic works of art.
