The majority of DeVore's pieces are sculptural in style, utilizing the outer natural edge of the tree for spectacular results. He works in redwood, buckeye, maple, olive, walnut, and myrtle. Highly figured salad bowls, small scoops, ring holders, wine coasters with cork inserts and wine stoppers are featured in his functional line of wood pieces.
